Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use ayeknow, we collect the text or media you submit for analysis, your account email (if signed in), and basic usage metrics (check counts, tier, response times). We do not sell your data.

How we use it

Submitted content is sent to our AI analysis pipeline to generate a credibility score. We may use anonymized, aggregated content patterns to improve the model. We do not store raw submitted text longer than 30 days.

Third-party services

• Clerk — authentication and user accounts
• Stripe / PayPal — payment processing (we never store card data)
• Anthropic Claude API — AI inference for content analysis
• Vercel / Railway — hosting and infrastructure

Your rights

You may request access to or deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing privacy@ayeknow.ai or using our data request form. We respond within 45 days.

California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you and how we use it.
• Delete your personal information (subject to certain exceptions).
• Opt out of sale — we do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• Non-discrimination — we will not penalize you for exercising any of these rights.

GDPR — EU / UK Residents

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the General Data Protection Regulation (or equivalent UK/Swiss law) gives you additional rights.

Legal basis for processing. We process your personal data on the basis of: (a) contract performance — to deliver the service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to maintain security and improve our systems; and (c) your consent — for optional communications.

Your rights under GDPR include:

• Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data.
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your data. You can do this in Account Settings or via our data request form. Account deletion automatically triggers removal of your stored data.
• Restriction — ask us to pause processing your data while a dispute is resolved.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
• Automated decisions — our credibility scores are generated by AI. You may request a human review of any score by contacting us at privacy@ayeknow.ai.

Data transfers. We use sub-processors located in the United States. Transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where applicable.

Right to complain. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK, or the relevant EU data protection authority).

Cookies

We use session cookies for authentication only. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
